One of the objectives of the project is to develop a (partially) automated algorithm for the holistic identification of efficiency improvement potentials of processes, cross-cutting technologies and energy supply. The analysis starts with the requirements of the processes and not with the existing energy supply. It is important to examine what is actually driving the energy demand and how it can be reduced. The efficiency checklist published in the Documents section can be used as a first aid to review your own process conditions according to efficiency principles.
