climate bOWL
The climate bOWL project consists of a consortium of research and industry that is developing an intelligent assistance system to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in industry.
Greenhouse gas emissions occur along the entire value chain. Identifying appropriate mitigation measures requires transparency about greenhouse gas emitters and involves high transaction costs due to the interaction and interdisciplinarity of production, energy and information technology. The path to climate neutrality therefore requires a holistic approach to the aggregation and evaluation of greenhouse gas emissions as well as the identification and prioritisation of measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions along the entire value chain. The interdisciplinary climate bOWL project team is addressing this challenge.
